Terms of service
Last updated 10 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between JustBook and you, the business that creates an account to take bookings. By creating an account you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to. Customers who book through a vendor's page are covered by section 4.
1. The service
JustBook gives your business a booking page at justbook.my/your-name and an embeddable widget, a calendar for you and your staff, customer records, confirmation and reminder emails, and optional online payments through your own payment gateway account. We may add, change or retire features. We will give notice before removing anything you depend on.
You get a limited, non-exclusive right to use JustBook for your business while these terms apply. Everything about JustBook itself, including its code, design and name, remains ours.
2. Your account
Keep your password private and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it, including actions by staff you invite. Give us accurate details and keep them current; we send legal and billing notices to the email on the account.
One person may run up to the number of businesses their plan allows. Do not create accounts to get around limits or to impersonate another business.
3. Your responsibilities as a vendor
You decide what you offer, at what price, and when. You are responsible for honouring bookings, for the quality and legality of your services, and for any licences your trade needs.
Customer data you collect through JustBook is yours to look after under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Use it for the booking and your relationship with that customer. Do not sell it or send unsolicited marketing to people who have not agreed to it. We process it for you as described in the privacy policy.
Do not use JustBook for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful, to send spam, to host content you do not have rights to, or to probe or overload our systems. We may suspend accounts that do.
4. Customers and bookings
A booking is an agreement between the customer and the vendor. JustBook is not a party to it and does not provide the service booked. Questions about a service, a refund of a service fee, a cancellation policy or a no-show charge are for the vendor.
Customers can view, reschedule or cancel a booking through the link in their confirmation email, within the rules the vendor sets. Customers do not need a JustBook account.
5. Plans, trials and billing
The Solo plan is free. The Team plan costs RM49 a month or RM490 a year, in Malaysian ringgit, tax included where applicable. Prices and limits are shown on the pricing page and in Settings; if we change them we will give at least 30 days' notice by email and the new price applies from your next billing period.
New businesses get 7 days of Team free, without a card. When the trial ends the business returns to Solo unless you subscribe. Nothing is charged automatically at the end of a trial.
Card subscriptions through Stripe renew automatically each month or year until you cancel in Settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Team until the period you paid for ends. Payments through ToyyibPay are one-off for the period chosen and do not renew by themselves.
Because you can use Team free for 7 days first, paid periods are not refundable except where the law requires it or where JustBook was unavailable for a substantial part of the period through our fault. If a payment fails, you have a short grace period to update it before the business returns to Solo. Data is never deleted because a plan lapses.
6. Online payments from your customers
If you connect ToyyibPay, senangPay or Stripe, money from customers goes to your gateway account under your agreement with that gateway. JustBook takes no share of those payments and does not hold funds. Gateway fees, chargebacks and payouts are between you and the gateway. We only record the payment status against the booking.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep JustBook available around the clock and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is done outside Malaysian business hours where possible. Support is by email at hello@justbook.my, and we reply on business days.
Your data is backed up daily. You can export bookings and customers from the dashboard at any time on the Team plan and on request on Solo.
8. Liability
JustBook is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost bookings or reputational harm, or for losses caused by things outside our control, including outages at our providers, your gateway, or your own internet connection.
Our total liability to you for any claim in a 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or RM100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.
9. Ending the agreement
You can delete your business or account at any time from Settings, or by emailing us. We remove its data within 30 days, apart from payment records we must keep for tax.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud or abuse, or has an unpaid balance after the grace period. Where practical we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and disputes go to the courts of Malaysia. If part of these terms is found unenforceable the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and we will email vendors before material changes take effect. Continuing to use JustBook after that date means you accept the new terms.
