A fitness booking system for classes with limited spots

Twelve mats, a WhatsApp group, and a list of names that someone has to keep counting. JustBook replaces the counting: a class has a set number of seats, members book them, and when it is full it says so.

The trouble with running classes by group chat

  • Counting names by hand

Somebody adds "+1", somebody drops out, and the list in the chat stops matching reality by Wednesday.

  • Spots wasted by late cancellations

A member cancels an hour before class and nobody on the waiting list sees it in time. The mat stays empty.

  • Classes and PT compete for your time

Trainers who run classes and one-to-one sessions need both on one calendar, or they end up booked for two things at once.

Classes and one-to-one sessions, side by side

Class bookings are part of the Team plan. One-to-one sessions work on the free plan too.

Classes with a fixed number of seats

Set a class to 12 seats. Members book one or several, the count updates live, and the class closes itself when full.

Per-person pricing

Class prices are per seat, so a member booking for two friends pays for three. Take payment online or at the door.

Personal training on the same calendar

One-to-one sessions block the trainer, not the studio. Clients book their trainer directly.

A cancellation cut-off

Members cancel themselves up to your cut-off, and the seat is instantly available again for the next person.

How members book a class

  1. Tap the link in your group or bio

The same link works for every class, and members do not need an account.

  2. Choose the class and number of seats

They see how many spots are left for each session before choosing.

  3. Check in with a QR code

Scan confirmations at the door to see who has arrived. No more paper sign-in sheet.

Example: a yoga studio in Mont Kiara

The owner capped classes at ten mats and had been managing sign-ups in a WhatsApp group of 140 people. She created her weekly classes with ten seats each and pinned the link in the group.

The group is now for announcements rather than roll calls. Members see "2 left" and book quickly, and late cancellations refill themselves because the seat goes straight back on the page.

For coaches who work alone

  • Free plan for a solo trainer running one-to-one sessions
  • Client records with visit history and private notes
  • Reschedule links so clients move sessions without messaging you
  • Reports on which classes and hours fill fastest (Team plan)
  • Works equally well for yoga, pilates, martial arts, dance and swim coaching

Questions people ask

Can I limit how many people join a class?

Yes. Each class has a fixed number of seats. Once they are taken, the session shows as full and cannot be overbooked.

Can one person book for friends?

Yes. They choose the number of seats, up to the limit you set per booking, and the price is calculated per person.

Does JustBook handle monthly memberships or class packs?

Not currently. It handles bookings and per-session payment. Memberships and prepaid class packs would need to be tracked separately.

I am a freelance personal trainer. Is there a free option?

Yes. The Solo plan is free for one trainer with up to five session types and unlimited bookings.
