How to add your booking link to Instagram, WhatsApp Business and Google Business Profile
· 6 min read
Baca dalam Bahasa MelayuA booking page only works if people can find it. In Malaysia, customers find small businesses in three places: Instagram, WhatsApp and Google. Put your link in all three and most of your scheduling messages disappear on their own. Each takes about five minutes. Here is exactly where to click.
Before you start: get the short link ready
Your booking page lives at justbook.my/your-business. Copy it from Booking page in the dashboard, and paste it somewhere handy, because you will use it five or six times in the next half hour.
If your business name is long, make sure the link itself is short and easy to say out loud. "justbook.my/nadia-nails" is something a customer can type from memory after hearing it once at the counter. A link with numbers and hyphens is not.
Instagram: the bio link and the action button
Open your profile, tap Edit profile, then Links. Add your booking link and give it a title such as "Book an appointment". Instagram allows several links, so you do not have to remove anything else, but put the booking link first: that is the one people see without tapping "and more".
If you have a business or creator account, also check Action buttons under Edit profile. Some regions offer a "Book now" button that accepts a URL. Where it is available, use it: the button sits right under your bio and gets far more taps than the link list.
Then mention it. Write "Book via the link in bio" in the caption of every post that shows your work, and pin a story to your highlights called "Book" that says the same. People rarely go looking for a link unless they are told it is there.
WhatsApp Business: profile, greeting and quick replies
In WhatsApp Business, go to Business tools, then Business profile, and paste the link in the Website field. It becomes a tappable line on your profile, which is the first place a new customer looks.
Next, Business tools again, then Greeting message. Turn it on and write something like: "Hi! Thanks for messaging Nadia Nails. You can see our free slots and book instantly at justbook.my/nadia-nails. For anything else, reply here and we will get back to you soon." Anyone who messages you for the first time, or after a quiet period, receives it automatically.
Finally, Quick replies. Create one with the shortcut /book containing the link and a short line. The next time someone asks "ada slot esok?", type /book and send. Two seconds instead of a five-message negotiation.
Google Business Profile: the appointment link
Search for your business name on Google while signed in to the account that manages the profile. In the panel that appears, choose Edit profile, then look for Booking or Appointment links. Paste your booking link and save.
Once approved, your Google listing shows a "Book" button on Maps and in search results, next to Call and Directions. For a walk-in trade like barbering or car detailing this is often the single biggest source of new online bookings, because people searching "barber near me" are ready to book right now.
While you are there, make sure your opening hours match the hours on your booking page. Nothing frustrates a customer more than a Google listing that says open until 9pm and a booking page whose last slot is 6pm.
Everywhere else worth five minutes
Once the big three are done, the same link belongs in a few smaller places:
- Your Facebook page: the Book Now button under the cover photo takes a URL
- TikTok bio, if your customers are under thirty
- Your email signature and the footer of any invoice or receipt you send
- A printed QR code at the counter and on the mirror or bay. JustBook prints one for you from Booking page
- The last line of every confirmation message you type by hand: "Next time, book yourself at justbook.my/nadia-nails"
What to expect in the first month
The link will not empty your inbox on day one. Regulars keep messaging because that is what they have always done, and that is fine. Reply with the quick reply every time, add the bookings they make by message to the same calendar, and within a few weeks you will notice the pattern shift: bookings arriving at 11pm, made by people who never spoke to you at all.
